The last time I tried to plan a birthday party for Jack was when he was turning 2 and he got sick 2 days before and we had to cancel the party.
This year I decided to brave it again, and it turned out perfectly!!
Turns out our church lets us rent out the gym and they own an few inflatables...it was awesome and so affordable...and fun!
Jack and I planned an "Outer Space" themed party and my mind was whirling with ideas about how to decorate.
We invited a TON of people and had over 40 who rsvpd, but due to sicknesses etc, a little over half showed up...and while I had food and cupcakes for that many people, I think I might have gone a little crazy if everyone had showed up! As a result, we had a TON of leftover pizza (which helped serve as party favors for the families who came!)

| cupcakes! Jack helped me pick out the lemon flavor of cake, then I got busy baking LOTS of cupcakes and Daddy helped me decorate them with cute space themed frosting. |

| One of Jacks requests was to have a pinata (not sure where he has ever seen a pinata before...) but it wasnt a big deal to pull that off, and it was one of his few requests, we even kept it a secret until we brought it out. He was so excited! |

It was so fun...and totally paid for by my Usborne Business! I felt such a sense of accomplishment about that! I dont think we will do such a big party every year...but maybe every other year...each kid gets a big party each year or something like that...we'll see.
