on our way to ND! I'm VERY proud of how well they did traveling by plane on the way there! I was so nervous and they did so well!!

and now on the way to SD

we TRIED to see the Buffalo round up at the Custer State Park...got lost, got there WAAAY too late, got even more lost....and this was the closest we got to Buffalo that day. Wesley still laments that we missed the Buffalo Round up!

but we DID make it to Mt Rushmore eventually!!

on the way back to ND from SD we stopped at the Children's Museum of SD (our membership to the Chattanooga Children's Museum got us in for half price!!) it was AMAZING!!

Julia had book character dress up day at school!! 

We also played at a park around the corner from their house!

September Pictures from the camera!

We went on a big trip in September!!

Melanie, Jack and Wesley flew to ND, stayed with the Fisher in MN and drove to Mt Rushmore in SD! It was just thrilling! It was such a quick whirlwind trip, but so wonderful to see new places and visit with family we don't see enough!

the timing was so perfect for this trip since we were learning about Washington and Jefferson around the time of our trip!

I had to lay on the pavement in the middle of the sidewalk to get this cool shot...but it was worth it!

in the museum there was a display where the boys got to push down a dynamite explosive trigger plunger and make a scene from the creation of Mt. Rushmore explode on the screen. They could have done this forever!!

we got to go to a fall festival with the Fishers...it was fun to go to all the games and attractions!

I just LOVE that face!!
